The Celestron X-Cel LX X2 Barlow allows you to double the magnification of any 1.25″ eyepiece attached to it. This Barlow is an air-spaced, 3-element apochromatic design, with a 27mm clear aperture that provides premium performance without paying a premium price. The blackened lens edges and internal anti-reflection threading virtually eliminates internal reflections, assuring high contrast images when observing the Moon or planets. The X-Cel LX Barlow uses a brass pressure ring to hold the eyepiece more securely without damaging the barrel and the short length makes it easy to use with a star diagonal. This product also includes dust covers at either end of the barrel to keep out dust and moisture.
