Product Features

The iBalance 300 is the right instrument for geologists, jewelers, archaeologists, students, chefs, science labs, or anyone requiring precision measurements. It reads up to 300 grams in 0.1 gram increments. Each scale comes with 3 AAA batteries. It functions with 4 modes: Grams, Ounces, Pennyweights, and Carats.

The Tare feature allows you to have something on the scale and set the scale to zero, so it only weighs objects added afterwards. This is great feature when you’re weighing things that are in a container. The Hold feature means that you can have results stay on the digital readout after you remove an object from the scale. It also has an adjustable display that you can change the angle of for easier viewing while you work. The electronic beep can be turned off and the automatic turn-off feature can also be disabled.

The iBalance series also has an integrated thermistor to compensate for temperature changes and auto zero tracking to ensure stability. This scale was manufactured to meet the RoHS Directive, restricting the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
