The Sky-Watcher Evoguide 50DX APO Refractor is a tiny refractor with a lot of possible uses. With the finderscope mounting stalk or Vixen-style mounting plate, you could choose to simply use the Evoguide as a very nice finderscope. You could use it as a guidescope for your Sky-Watcher telescope or telescope, using the mounting stalk for mounting Sky-Watcher finderscopes. The Evoguide 50 APO allows you to use 1.25″ barrelled eyepieces (not included), so that you can choose your magnification, and comes with a spacer ring accessory to help you achieve focus. You could also use it as a small APO refractor in its own right and is a very portable option to do wide field astrophotography. One of things that I love about this little refractor/ finderscope is that they’ve designed it for you to attach a camera T-ring directly to it, so you don’t need a T-adapter.
