This 7.62 meter (25′) power cord is for use with CGE, CPC, Advanced GT, and NexStar Series.  The car battery adapter plug allows you to power your telescope directly via the car cigarette lighter, a Celestron’s PowerTank, or other 12 volt DC battery pack. Precautions should be taken to ensure that the cords don’t get wet when used outside (coiled into a bag or onto a plastic tarp below the telescope). Use an outdoor extension cord to cover the ground, from the power source to the telescope.This power cord is supplied as standard equipment with the Celestron CI700 mount and CG9/CG11/CG14/CM1100/CM1400 telescopes, but  may be bought as a replacement should the standard DC cord become lost or damaged.
