Welcome to Quarky Science

Quarky Science, in Victoria, BC, is dedicated to providing high quality science and nature products at a reasonable price. Our goal is to make science interesting, fun, and accessible to people of all ages.

Quarky Science has a wide selection of telescopes and accessories for amateur astronomers, as well as sports optics (binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, and opera glasses) and sports optics accessories (tripods, adapters, etc) for the outdoors, and magnifiers of every kind. For microscopy, we have microscopes and microscopy accessories. We have laboratory equipment (including digital scales) and electronics to supply educators, labs, hobbyists, and members of the Maker community. For getting children of all ages engaged in science and promoting STEM education, we have numerous interactive science kits (electronics, robots, engineering, chemistry kits, and more!), models, as well as toys and games.

Our Showroom, located at 8550 East Saanich Road, is open Monday to Saturday, from 10am-4pm for October and November (with longer hours likely returning for December). We ask that you please call us at 250-544-2038 to let us know when you’re coming over so we can ensure you have the showroom to yourself, and to make sure we’re not out doing deliveries or another customer isn’t already here. Due to covid-19, we’re unable to have multiple groups or large groups of customers in the showroom. We ask that you please wear a mask, as I will be, to help flatten the curve of this pandemic.

We offer free delivery to the Greater Victoria area for orders of $25 or more.
